Refund policy

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.

Eligibility — Items must be unworn, unused, and in original condition with tags attached and original packaging intact. A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Starting a Return — Write to hello@theothertype.com to begin. Once accepted, we'll send a return shipping label with instructions on where to send your package. Items returned without prior request are not accepted. Return address: [INSERT RETURN ADDRESS]

Damages and Issues — Inspect your order on arrival. Contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, and we'll make it right.

Exceptions — Perishable goods, custom or personalized items, and personal care products cannot be returned, nor can hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases, sale items, or gift cards. Reach out with questions on a specific item.

Exchanges — We don't process direct exchanges. Return your item, and once accepted, place a new order for the size or piece you want.

European Union — 14-Day Cooling-Off Period — Orders shipped into the European Union can be cancelled or returned within 14 days, for any reason, no justification required. The same condition requirements apply: unworn, unused, tags attached, original packaging, with receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds — Once your return is received and inspected, we'll confirm whether it's approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days; your bank or card provider may take a little longer to post it. If 15 business days pass after approval with no refund showing, contact hello@theothertype.com.
